Structural Explanation

Roofing System

The roofing system is the outermost waterproof protection structure of the container house. This system typically uses lightweight and corrosion-resistant materials such as color-coated metal sandwich corrugated panels. Proper drainage design, thermal insulation treatment, and sealing technology are critical to effectively prevent water leakage and reduce heat transfer.

This system consists of steel purlins, steel beams, and bracing members that support the roof panels. Its design is based on relevant standards (e.g., Australian/…), and it can withstand dead loads, live loads, wind uplift loads, and snow loads. All steel components are hot-dip galvanized or coated with anti-corrosion paint to ensure longterm service performance.

The ceiling system is the interior decorative layer beneath the roof structure. Itgenerally includes a suspended ceiling made of a rock wool sandwich panel decorative layer (carbon crystal board or bamboo wood fiber board) as well as an insulation layer. The ceiling not only enhances interior aesthetics and provides acoustic insulation but also separates the living space from the roof cavity, further improving thermal insulation performance.

The wall system is divided into two parts: the exterior enclosure walls and the interior partition walls. Exterior walls mostly use composite panels with steel sheets on both sides and an insulation core material (EPS, rock wool, polyurethane, etc.) in the middle.Interior walls can be gypsum boards or light gauge steel stud walls. The wall system ensures structural rigidity while providing thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, and fire resistance.

This system covers all exterior and interior doors, sliding windows, casement windows, and matching sealing profiles. In container houses, high performance steel or aluminum window frames with double seal structures are commonly used. The door and window system must ensure smooth opening and closing, good air tightness and water tightness, compliance with wind pressure resistance requirements, and the ability to adapt to wall deformations that occur during container expansion.

The main steel structure forms the load bearing skeleton of the expandable container house, including columns, primary and secondary beams, and corner posts. Made of Q235 carbon structural steel, the main structure transfers all types of loads to the foundation, ensuring overall stability and safety during transportation, lifting, and occupancy. Moreover, after the main steel frame is fully welded in the factory, it receives surface anti corrosion treatment to extend the service life of the house.

The floor system consists of the underframe (floor joists), the base panel (cement fiber board), and the finished surface layer (SPC stone plastic flooring). The floor of an expandable container house is designed with modular connections, allowing for level adjustment and uniform load distribution. A common construction practice is to lay fire resistant cement boards over the steel deck, and then install SPC flooring on top, balancing indoor comfort with durability.

Wall Panel System

1. Load-Bearing Frame (Structural Core)

The foundation of our wall system begins with a heavy-duty, hot-dip galvanized rectangular steel tube frame made from Q235B/S235 grade steel (with options of 80x40mm, 100x50mm, or 120x60mm sections). Constructed using high-frequency welding techniques, the frame guarantees 100% structural stability and compliance with international engineering standards. With a zinc coating of ≥80g/m² (Z80), it offers superior anti-rust and anti-corrosion protection, ensuring a long service life even under extreme outdoor conditions.

2. High-Density Rock Wool Insulation Core

Sandwiched within the steel frame is a premium high-density rock wool core (standard thickness 75mm or 100mm). This layer provides exceptional thermal insulation with an R-value ranging from R-15 to R-23, significantly reducing energy consumption. Additionally, it is fire-rated to Class A1, providing superior fire protection, and delivers excellent acoustic insulation to ensure a quiet, peaceful interior environment. The rock wool is sandwiched between high-strength galvanized steel sheets, contributing to the wall’s overall structural rigidity.

3. Exterior 3D Embossed Metal Cladding

Our exterior walls are clad with 3D embossed/velvet-texture metal panels that combine high aesthetics with robust functionality. Coated with a high-grade Al-Zn alloy and anti-UV treatment (standard 0.4mm thickness), these panels are highly rust-proof, weather-resistant, and resistant to corrosion. More importantly, they feature a screw-free, quick-installation design that saves time and ensures a clean, seamless finish. The panels are available in various colors and finishes, allowing you to match your project’s architectural style effortlessly.

4. Eco-Friendly Interior Carbon Crystal Panels

The interior walls are finished with eco-friendly carbon crystal boards, made from a blend of bamboo charcoal and crystal particles (standard 8mm thickness). These panels are formaldehyde-free and moisture-proof, creating a healthy and safe living environment. They are available in matte or semi-gloss finishes, with a wide selection of textures including wood grain and marble. The quick-install design allows for a swift and clean interior fit-out, giving the final space a premium, modern look.
